Bumps on legs from shin guards?

I play field hockey on my school team, the season just started. As soon as practice is over, i take off my socks and shin guards, go home, and take a shower, but these little red bumps still appear on my legs, especially at my ankles. sometimes they're itchy sommetimes not. I just got a flu vaccination and hepatitis vaccination last week, could this be affecting it? If not, what is it and how do i get rid of it?

you may be allergic to something in the guards, especially if they are shared with other team members. try wearing long over the calf socks and see if that helps
