Nike Tour 2 Mixed Recycled B-Grade Experienced Professional Golf Balls

Taylor Made Golf Balls has produced a ball it claims can be all things to all players - the Penta TP. The company said that while most long-distance balls have to sacrifice some performance aspect like spin, feel and short-game functions, the Penta TP does not. Its five-core construction allows for a multi-purpose ball.

Penta TP Provides Better Performance

The Penta TP provides a softer feel when struck by the putter. It produces high-spins off a 9-iron and all the wedges carried in your bag. It allows for better control and lower spin when using the mid irons - 6, 7, 8 - while allowing easier launch when using the 3, 4 and 5 irons. You gain maximum distance off the tee with your driver as well. Due to its unique construction, players can gain their optimum distance using a variety of swinging speeds.

TP Red LDP Produces Great Flight

If you are looking for Taylor Made golf balls that just keeps on flying, try the Taylor Made TP Red LDP. This product provides optimum distance regardless the quality of club head contact making it a very popular choice for amateurs and pros alike.

Tests on the ball have produced an 11-yard greater distance average for mid-handicappers. This has allowed players to reach into their bag for one less club to make a critical shot. Many pros including Sergio Garcia, Retief Goosen and Justin Rose have tried the Taylor Made TP Red LDP ball.

TP Black LDP Provides Fast Ball Speed

The TP Black LDP promotes faster ball speed for strikers hitting low-spin shots. The urethane cover helps deliver predictable spin while the LDP (Low-Drag Performance) construction produces improved distance for less than right-on center hits. The construction promotes enhanced launch distance and greater spin off both the driver and irons for a softer feel when striking the ball.

Burner TP LDP Provides Distance with Control

This is a three-piece construction that is designed for two-piece distance still adding great control and feel. The Burner TP has a construction promoting high ball speed with a low compression that allows for softer feel. The low compression rating of 75 indicates that many players swinging at lower club-head speeds can benefit from greater distance produced using the Burner TP.

Also, Taylor Made's LDP (Low-Drag Performance) the unique dimple design helps produce a greater degree of forgiveness with off-center shots. This feature helps maintain more efficient lift when a strike is less than perfect which normally ends in a low-spin shot that drops way short of the mark.

This would make a great choice for older players who have lost club-head speed with time. Due to the low compression, not much force is needed to transfer energy from club to ball. Also, it is a good choice for players who are not concerned about generating on-the-green spin.

Performance with Cost-Conscious in Mind

The Taylor Made Noodle golf ball allows a player to obtain a soft feel when striking the ball producing loner, and straighter, shots. This product is popularly priced while providing a dimple design that produces greater lift and longer carries.

There are a variety of Taylor Made Golf Balls ready for your next game.

The Fall Guy

Matteson clearly loves playing golf in the autumn - or, as they say in the States, the Fall.

In his rookie year of 2006 he hadn't made the top ten once entering the final weeks of the season but then reeled off five top tens on the trot, including his maiden win at Summerlin.

12 months later he was at it again, finishing ninth at the Deutsche Bank Championship.

Last November he was sixth and seventh in the end-of-term Florida events.

And so to this year - until this week he was yet to break the top ten and now he collects a second win; once more thriving in his favourite time of year.

Going low and then going low again

Prior to teeing it up at Grayhawk Matteson had never shot 61, but he managed to do it twice in two days on Friday and Saturday, giving him a three-shot lead ahead of the final round.

That score of 122 for two consecutive rounds broke Steve Stricker's record of 123 set in rounds three and four of this year's Bob Hope Classic.

He very nearly blew it when finishing his final round bogey-bogey, but he withstood the skills of the two youngsters Rickie Fowler and Jamie Lovemark to get birdie on the second play-off hole, enough to secure victory.

Going straight

After managing nothing better than a two-over par 72 on day one, Matteson's aim on day two was nothing more adventurous than making the cut.

But he hit every green in regulation and next day his missed only three of eighteen.

Hitting the ball that straight was always going to mean making the cut was inevitable but Matteson, having been unable to hole a putt "all year" suddenly found himself holing everything he looked at.

"You know, this year has been a struggle, just nothing would go in," he explained. "All of a sudden I came out here and it's like, voila, there it is. I drained everything!"

Manuel de los Santos, the 25-year-old from the Dominican Republic, will tee off at the Alfred Dunhill Links Championship at St Andrews. The game also includes superstars of the field, including Padraig Harrington and Ernie Els.

The only problem is the boy only has one leg. Manuel was a promising baseball player until, aged 18, he was struck by a car while riding his motorcycle. As the damage was so badly, Manuel has no choice but to accept the handicap that no other golfers want.

He said: "I hit four balls and I immediately felt good.

"I felt really well-balanced. I said, 'That's what I can do - let's go'." Manuel found he played golf better without the use of a prosthetic leg. Instead, he relied on his balance honed from his baseball days.

He also prefers to use crutches rather than ride a buggy between shots, saying: "I'm an athlete. That's why I walk."

In 2005 he joined the French Handigolf association and with a tough training schedule won the Spanish Open after just six months.

He's now one of the top five disabled golfers in the world and second in the European Order of Merit.

Last year he started competing with the pros for the first time on the Allianz Tour, as a representative of Handigolf.

And today he'll make his European Tour debut at The Alfred Dunhill Links Championship.

It'll also be the first time he has played the world-famous Old Course, which plays host to the multi-million pound event along with nearby links Carnoustie and Kingsbarns. He said: "It is my first European Tour event and I am thrilled to be representing the partnership with Allianz at the Home of Golf.

"It is a dream for me to play at the Old Course. So many greats of the game have played here and it has a special place in the heart of golfers.

"The partnership is helping people learn about the origins of the sport. That's something I totally support."
