Hmm is a phiten Titanium Necklace a good gift...?

So my boyfriend is a big baseball player. He plays on a select team and literally lives and breathes baseball. Everyone on my brothers team has phiten necklaces, and this weekend i was looking at one, and i thought it would be a good gift. But could someone tell me if they actually work and what style you would recommend. Pros and Cons would be great since my mom wants to go ahead and order it ASAP. please and thank you

I am an avid baseball player and i play almost everyday and i have 2 phiten necklaces and all sorts of phiten stuff so yeah i would say its a good gift...whether it works or not i couldn't tell you...i think its a mental thing i strongly believe it works for me but if it will work for ur boyfriend idk...and you do look sick wearing it so yea i would say get it...and get one either thats black or that matches his teams colors...i have a maroon and a grey and red normal kind that is 22" so its really up to you...

Good Places To Meet Excellent Boyfriend

Are you stuck in an office all day with the same stiffs day in and day out? Have you tried singles dances, only to leave feeling worse than when you went in? Did the last loser your aunt set you up with squash your Chihuahua when he screeched up the driveway?

Well, dont fret. I have some ideas for you. While advice columnists steer single women into churches to meet honest, loyal, and successful men, I wouldnt dream of it. Church is great for communing with God, but it never struck me as the best place to meet a man. People, including me, are on our best behavior at church. If youd rather meet a man where hes more likely to be himself, here are my top three recommendations:

1. A bar, specifically during Monday Night Football. Football season is a great time to meet men who flock to taverns to watch the NFL. When I was single, I loved going to Monday Night Football (even though I didnt really understand the game) because the bar was filled with mostly single men, there was a free buffet, and the atmosphere was merry.

Advice columnists usually tell women to stay out of bars if they want to meet suitable men, but I disagree. Its important to see how a man drinks, and how he behaves under the influence of alcohol. Does he get wasted and drive home? Or, does he have a couple of beers and switch to water before he leaves? Does he smack the bartender in the head when his team loses, or does he remain amiable? There are things you can learn in a bar about a man that you never will in church. Bring a friend with you and make having fun, not hooking up, your first priority.

You may have to show up three weeks in a row before anybody shows interest in you (or, then again, maybe not). Keep in mind that different bars attract different types of people. If you dont like the crowd in one bar, try another place next time.

2. A class. I know, I know. Youve heard this one before, but have you ever tried it? Let me tell you a story: My friend Brians longtime girlfriend dropped him for another guy. After grieving for a while, he dusted himself off and signed up for a cooking class. See, Brian loves to cook, but he put off pursuing formal training while he was with Whats-Her-Name.

Once she was out of the picture, though, he decided to register for a course, figuring hed meet many likeminded women there. Sure enough, he did. I advise you to write down a list of hobbies youd like to explore and figure out which of them would also appeal to men. Then sign up for a class or join a club. See what happens.

3. Throw a party. While Brian did meet lots of women at the cooking class, he didnt fall in love with any of them. So he threw a party where he could show off his new skills. He wasnt picky about who he invited and told everybody to bring a friend or two. The result? A woman hed never met showed up.

They fell in love and have been married now for two years. But even if Brian hadnt met his future wife that night, hosting that party netted him plenty of invitations to others, providing opportunities to meet many more people. A caveat: When you plan your party, dont exclude married friends from the guest list. You dont want your big night to feel like a singles mixer. Instead, invite couples and encourage them to bring a friend.

Remember, the trick to meeting new men is to break up your routine. Step one: Put down the remote. I assure you that the world is full of great single men like Brian who want to meet someone special, and for one of those men, that person is you. Seek and create new social situations. Act naturally.

Smile. Whatever you do, dont keep twisting your neck like youre casing the place for a live one. Maintain eye contact with whomever youre talking to, whether its a man or a woman. Having fun is key. When youre having fun, youll attract men like a magnet.

Soccer fans all over the world look forward each week to following and watching their favorite teams play. The feeling they have is unrivalled in many aspects of their lives. Not only does this practice become a habit, but it borders on the religious.

The trip to and during a soccer game can stoke the fires in fans' bellies. The excitement is strong and can be felt whether one attends the game with fellow fans or as an individual. Those who prefer going in large groups can do so with fan clubs who prefer having organized trips, engaging in songs and dance as they make their way there.

Some of the best stadiums around the world are filled with colorful banners and signs. These are often created by fans to encourage and motivate their teams, while declaring their undying loyalty. It is amazing how something as simple as a banner can add so much to a live sporting event.

Cheering for your favorite side is not restricted to within the stadiums. Many football fans enjoy singing songs and chanting cheers on their way to the match. This promotes camaraderie amongst the group and sets the tone for a carnival scene outside and within the ground.

It can a once in a lifetime experience to visit a live soccer match and hear the boisterous atmosphere that permeates the occasion. The songs and cheers can often be heard even outside the stadium enclosures. Even the non-football fan cannot avoid feeling an exhilarating sensation influenced by the joy and passion from the fans.

There are some clubs that allow fans to bring in other tools to pump up the atmosphere created within. Soccer fans are often seen banging on drums, using loudspeakers and whistles, to organize mass cheering. Some use inflated balloon sticks, as seen from South Koreans during the World Cup in 2002.

A common scene in Italian and Eastern European football matches is the use of flares. While this can be a danger risk to fans and players, they are allowed and can drench the whole stadium in color and smoke. Turkish fans are also famous for using them widely to create an intimidating atmosphere for visiting supporters.

With so much happening before and during soccer matches, it is no wonder that fans are so devoted to traveling in support of their teams. It not only shows their devotion, but the thrills and excitement of doing so can provide mood lifts whatever the situation. Many of them go on to do this for the rest of their lives, and even pass it on from generation to generation.

Live worms have long been the subject of comedy routines. People just don't know how to put a worm on a hook. When a gang hook is used a worm stretches out and looks natural. The fish don't get suspicious and you catch more fish.

There are some folk who wouldn't consider using live bait. I mean, like never. For these folk, synthetic bait can be real useful. Synthetic bait has come a long, long way in the past few years. Some of the new synthetic bait is nothing short of amazing. Today synthetic bait comes in every shape, form and type of bait you can imagine. With synthetic bait you can be ready to fish at a moment's notice.

To do this you need to leverage the top rule with fishing bait; that of making your bait unique and different! A new different bait has the best potential to tempt big wary carp because even where a so-called food bait or nutritional biological value bait is established, once fish get hooked on it, then fish feeding behaviour on it can alter dramatically!

Improving your baits competitive edges is all about adapting their ingredients or adding extra ones soaked in, or treating the bait with a new process so it smells and tastes different to its previous version. Other carp can senses come into the equation and be exploited in regards to texture, colour, density, shape, buoyancy, firmness, solubility and permeability etc. However you do it, changing a bait in even one small way can sustain your results on it or even totally transform your results far more positively!

Big Carp Fishing Baits

It will probably come as a surprise to many fishermen that fish alternate frequently between one feeding mode and another, in order to best profit from various food opportunities available in the aquatic environment even within a short time period and this can change many times even over an hour or 24 hour period. The way fish feed is key to how best to tempt them in order to get a hook in their mouth and catch them, but few anglers actually give this immensely important subject the attention it demands. But the good news is that you can induce many fish feeding modes simply and easily in order to catch more fish purely by exploiting what comes naturally to them...

It is well-known that jokers and blood worms have often been banned as baits from various fisheries because they impact upon the feeding behaviour of fish so much. Many species of fish and in particular the Cyprindae genus of fish, have many adaptations which help them switch between modes of feeding to exploit the higher profitabilities of one mode over another, depending on which forms of food are available and where they are located in the water or bottom sediment.

For instance, fish can harvest the extremely nutrient rich algae purely by sucking on stones and gravel. They can also particulate feed and filter on zooplankton and algae for instance in the upper layers of the water in spring and summer especially when building up reserves of energy before and after spawning activities. This reflects in the ways that fine bread and fish meal based ground baits can be fed upon in ways where the fish do not have to actually feed on the bottom, but consume it higher up in the water in suspension.

This kind of feeding or similar can be used to further explore the potential of your hook baits and free baits as food items even before your bait is actually touched by a fish. You might have seen a fish suddenly dart towards a bait after having started gulping in water first to taste your bait more efficiently using taste buds in the pharyngeal cavity in the gill area. Fish also use gulping in a snapping motion in a mobile pump feeding) or static position to filter feed and particulate feed and carp and bream do this much of the time in turbid lakes; lazy of what!

When filter feeding and using similar and related modes, carp can actually benefit from you baits nutrition and attraction without even touching them which definitely has its advantages if you use this to excite them fully before they actually feed. Such things as vegetable and fish oils, fine crustacean and milk extract powders and liver and digestive tract extracts for example, can all be exploited, but there are thousands of choices. You bait substances through carp filter feeding can induce a feeding frenzy state even before your carp have even swallowed a single bait!

Bass and trout and even carp, bream and fish like crappie roach and barbel all filter feed to different degrees. This finely adjusted feeding is achieved using what is called the branchial sieve structures which are adjusted in order to energy efficiently exploit more abundant nutritious food particles and natural organisms. Carp can even suction filter feed at least an equal head length away from its head which is similar in energy and movement efficiency as a sheep seen feeding on grass on its knees although fish use far less energy in general movement compared to terrestrial animals not supported in water.

It often seems to be the case that carp fishing baits focus goes on chemical smells for instance which are very obvious to our senses, but it needs to be remembered that fish have extremely fine tuned lateral line cells which use electrochemical impulses in the detection of food items even by the tiny movements of zooplankton only 1 millimetre in diameter. The gape size of a fish's mouth is normally not a limiting factor in efficient feeding, but the diameter of the area where the food is chewed is and it is often far less than the gape of the mouth. Therefore its makes sense to exploit this and use smaller baits than often recommended. In fact carp in turbid lakes predominantly depend on food which is in particle size, so why not go with this approach not against it!

Smaller food items can naturally be passed to the throat teeth in mouthfuls without any problem and of course the more energy efficient the food delivery system is the better. It can often be the case that small baits are the preferred choice of more experienced big fish anglers because they can see the benefits of smaller food items in regards how fish feed on such baits and also their more natural weight, size and movement in water when combined with a correctly balanced hook rig. I find boilies in the 6 to 8 millimetre size excellent for bigger more wary fish even with huge mouths!

If you exploit the various filter feeding modes of fish using various grades of ingredients both soluble and insoluble in your ground baits you can certainly induce far more intense and suitable feeding for hooking wary big carp. You might recall the fact that fish are lateral lines are tuned to feel the movements of live foods like maggots and sound is important in ground bait effectiveness, but smaller hook baits are well recommended in conjunction with this. With carp one thing is for sure and that is when you leverage their mode of feeding or preferably specifically induce particular modes of intense feeding, you can vastly improve your catches all year round and all you need to know is a bit more about effective bait use and ingredients manipulation...

Power

Motor scooters might come in a wide range of body shapes and sizes, from small-engined "knock abouts" to large motorcycle replacements. Consider your needs and where you'll be using the scooter. If it's just for neighborhood riding, there are any number of small, cheap scooters that would fit the bill. Perhaps a 125 or 150 would be the largest to consider.

Fit

Many scooter shoppers choose a style, rather than purchasing a fit. This is the surest way to ensure a bad investment. Fit becomes increasingly important as operator time increases and is one of the main determinants of safety, so don't brush it aside!

Ensure that your hands are in a good, comfortable position when riding, and that the controls, clutch, and brakes are all within easy reach. And don't forget to check the seat. While soft seats seem to be more comfortable at first, they usually result in soreness faster than firmer seats.

Style

Check out various models online before you head into a dealership where sales pressure will often result in you leaving with something you would not have purchased without pressure. There are plenty of new, sleek models, but you'll also find a wide variety of classic models for sale.

Price

Similar to cars, motor scooters lose their value immediately upon leaving the lot. What makes this situation worse is that scooters generally don't receive the same level of annual mileage as cars or even motorcycles, so the immediate depreciation has a more significant impact. In a year, you could see a 30 percent or more decrease in resale value for a scooter that has barely been used.

For this reason, be sure to look at more than just local dealers. There are several good resellers online who will provide you with a good selection at good prices. And you can find these motors scooters without putting up with pushy salesmen!

Buying your first set of golf clubs can seem quite daunting with all the choices out there. To take away some of the confusion I have listed some things to keep in mind before you go out to get your first set of golf clubs.

Be Clear About Your Golf Goals. If you have realistic goals before you set out to buy, it will make the process of buying clubs much easier. If you're deeply committed to golf and plan to play every day, then obviously you'll want to spend more time, money and effort on a set of clubs than if you only intend to play twice a year with your brother-in-law.

Assessing Your Levels of Dedication and Interest. If you honestly assess your dedication to golf, you can more easily determine how much to spend, and on what quality of clubs. How much will you be practicing? Will you be willing to take lessons? If you aren't willing to go that far, then you're probably better off going with a cheaper pair of clubs. If you plan to practice regularly, and take lessons, then you may want something more expensive.

New or Used Clubs? Used clubs are probably a good choice if you aren't sure about your commitment or have a history of taking up hobbies and losing interest in them after a short time. They will be cheaper than new clubs and they can be replaced more easily later.

Shaft Options - The Basics. The two differences in golf shafts that beginners should keep in mind are shaft composition. Graphite or steel and shaft flex (the amount of bend in the shaft during your swing). Steel is sturdier and cheaper, but graphite is lighter, so it will generate more swing speed. Women and older players will benefit most from graphite shafts that have a softer flex. Stronger, younger men may go with regular or stiffer shafts, but remember that many teaching say too many golfers use shafts with too much stiffness. Getting a Clubfitting. If you're getting a new set of clubs, a clubfitting is an option. A clubfitting lasts about half an hour and is an option offered by many teaching pros. If you don't want that, at least getting a measurement in a pro shop will ensure that the clubs you choose are well-suited to your body. If you are a 5-foot-10 male, then the standard clubs straight off the rack will fit you. However, if that description doesn't fit you very well, you might want to get fitted.

Easier Golf with the Right Clubs. Of course, nothing will take the place of a good swing, but as a novice golfer you can make it easier on yourself by choosing clubs that are designed specifically for higher-handicappers - known as "game improvement clubs". You should choose irons that are cavity-backed and perimeter-weighted. Investigate "hybrid" sets, in which utility clubs replace the long irons - that is, the 3-, 4- and occasionally 5-irons. Go for more loft (i.e. 12 degrees), not less, when choosing a driver. Do not pay attention to what kind of clubs the Tour players use.

Ask Questions, Seek Advice. If you have friends who play golf, ask them for advice. Ask at a pro shop or golf pro for recommendations. Get some idea of what you're really looking for. When you've done all this, and you're ready to buy, remember to shop around. Range and price will always differ from one outlet to another, whether you're shopping at pro shops, department stores, or garage sales. Just keep in mind your price range and only buy clubs within that range.
