So my boyfriend is a big baseball player. He plays on a select team and literally lives and breathes baseball. Everyone on my brothers team has phiten necklaces, and this weekend i was looking at one, and i thought it would be a good gift. I am an avid baseball player and i play almost everyday and i have 2 phiten necklaces and all sorts of phiten stuff so yeah i would say its a good gift...whether it works or not i couldn't tell you...i think its a mental thing i strongly believe it works for me but if it will work for ur boyfriend idk...and you do look sick wearing it so yea i would say get it...and get one either thats black or that matches his teams colors...i have a maroon and a grey and red normal kind that is 22" so its really up to you...

I don't like having anything to tight on my neck...and I think the 18 inch one would be a pain around me.

Noo go for the 22' phiten. I own that one. It says on the site that the 18' is meant for girls. I am 14 and own the 22' and it fits me very well. I recommend it the 22'
