Pants White

where can i find white dress pants for juniors?

I just bought this cute shirt today and it is mostly black and has a little white in it and i figured that instead of a pair of black dress pants, white would look a lot better. I'm not sure where to look for white dress pants for juniors though, i need this for college so it is important.
help please!
thanks!

You could try stores at the mall. There are actually pretty cheap clothes at the mall.

Try Forever 21, Rave, Body Shop, Charlotte Russe, New York and Company, 5-7-9.

You may want to go a different route, considering white is about to be out of season.

Hope this helps!

What I Know and Rember About Baseball - Glove Selection

With current players; Gloves are designed to last 1 season. $50 - $75 of annual frustration. The love of the glove is not the same. Disposable tool for a generation proclaiming recycling. Its just beyond my consideration.

As a parent, finances are substantially different then when I was growing up. I tend to save my money and buy the best of what I need. This goes for my kids as well. I have no qualms about getting the better end of what is available for their needs. My oldest on a whim decided to try out for a select baseball team and playing up a year. To my amazement they took him, but the backyard glove I'd taught him with would not be sufficient for the rigors he was to encounter. So, no problem, just find a good glove for a left hander. WHAT A JOKE! I went to over a dozen stores and looked through hundreds of gloves. I soon discovered that gloves go on sale in January when the shipments come in and the best selection is available. May is for good sales on what is already left over from the current year. Add to this that all sporting goods buyers believe that less than 1% of all players are left handed and 100% need a glove 12" or larger and you are hard pressed to get something age appropriate. Finally, not all gloves available for right hand throws are available for left hand throws. Seems the makers also feel that left hand throwers only need the larger gloves as well. As market conditions have virtually wiped out the mom and pop sporting goods dealers in my area, box stores that have taken over have little to no ability to special order anything. If you do, its full MSRP + shipping + handling, +, +, annoying. The final selection seemed to have all the credentials, good brand name, endorsed by the Little League king himself, a little large, but small enough hand pocket to keep it in place, $60. Game ready and good pocket. Within 6 weeks I was tightening up the laces, after 14 weeks, the outside finger area had broken down. Glove performance was poor and frustration was gaining speed. My player was loosing faith in his gloves ability to protect himself from the ball. My faith in this selection for him was also lost.

So, off to the internet. Find a suitable replacement that I don't need to re-purchase every year. East Bay, Just Gloves and Sports Diamond dominate the google and yahoo searches. All styles of the 3 majors (Rawlings, Wilson, Louisville) are there plus some of the up and comers (Nokoma, SSK, Nike, Reebok, etc ) but how do you justify a $89 glove to a $350 one. How does one determine the upper youth model will give more than 1 season. Back to the internet to search owner comments and the individual pieces that make up a glove. Steerhide, that's the ticket. Its generally thicker and the majors only use it in there most premium gloves. Even the up and comers reserve Steerhide for their top of the line gear. Do I recommend handing a $350+ glove to a 9yr old, no. Can I justify $120, well, compared to the prospect of spending $60 each year, if I get 2 years out of $120 it's a break even. If he can keep it all through high school, then all the better. So where did I find a steerhide glove that met all my criteria, nw.kelleyusa.com . These guys have just what you need for the price that is extremely right. They are a small company that offers direct pricing and distributorships. So, shrewd as I can be, I bought a distributorship and the mandatory inventory. I rationalized this by the fact I can get their best stuff at an even better price and at the very worst, give it away to the players we have in the family. I was very pleased with all the gloves they sent. Everything delivered as promised. The recurring proof for me is when I attend shows and young teenagers arrive at my table with their Dads and attest "this is just as good as the (brand x) we have been looking at and half the price!". That seals it for me. These guys spend hundreds if not thousands of hours reading, examining, touching gloves from every source they can find. To see so much enthusiasm just moments after introduction, it truly re-enforces my belief in these gloves.

Better gloves solve several problems;

1) they last longer

2) you only have to break them in once

3) annualized return on dollars spent is greater

4) you get a lifetime of baseball memories attached to one very personal glove.

So, is $120 a good price to pay? I say yes!

Rock Your Wardrobe With a Gorgeous Right-Hand Ring

Can't decide what pair of earrings to wear? Not sure if a necklace will complete your outfit? Forget those and think right-hand ring. Right-hand rings add a kind of spontaneous glamour and energy to nearly any outfit. Meant to be large and dramatic, right-hand rings, or "ravishing rocks" as they've become known in the fashion world, are a dramatic way to notch up your inner fashion diva instantly.

History of Right-hand Rings

Right-hand rings (aka "cocktail rings) first came on the scene in a big way during the U.S. prohibition. Women wore these bodacious designs to illegal cocktail parties. These flashy, colorful rings flaunted the fact that the women were drinking illegally. Their bold styles became a symbol for the women who wore them. The rings continued their popularity into the 1940s and 1950s.

Always trendsetters, celebrities have made the right-hand ring an especially hot fashion accessory, especially with large diamond and gemstone creations at events such as the Oscars or Emmys. Angelina Jolie, Cate Blanchette, Jennifer Aniston, Victoria Beckham, and Catherine Heigl are just a few of the endless celebrities rocking the red carpet with beautiful creations. With simple earrings, and no necklace, right-hand rings often are enough accessory to create a dramatic entrance. With the passing of the huge handbag trend, the right-hand ring has replaced it as the go-to accessory. And while top fashion houses such as Louis Vuitton and Chanel offer their versions, thankfully right-hand rings can easily be found in fun and engaging designs nearly anywhere.

How to Wear the Look

Most women wear the right-hand ring on their right ring finger, however they also look chic worn on the index finger as well. The bigger the stone, the better, as the right-hand ring is mean to be an attention-getter - opulent and overdone. However, those with small hands can do the look without looking silly by choosing rings that extend no farther than the bottom knuckle. Most rings sport a large central stone set on its own or surrounded by smaller, sometimes contrasting, colored stones.

Turquoise is simply fantastic in a right-hand ring and stands out on any skin tone. Styles range from 70s-disco-era-fun with a giant stone trimmed with etched feathers and flowers to a more formal turquoise enamel and crystal square ring with gold.

Playing off one of the spring's most popular colors, a purple cubic zirconia (CZ) right-hand ring featuring an emerald cut is a real stunner and makes a perfect statement piece.

Paired beautifully with the bright shades and prints of this season's hottest fashions, a black right-hand ring creates real drama. For example, a silvertone right-hand ring punctuated by a jet glass stone will wear dramatically from dinner out with friends or to a friend's evening wedding. Black onyx, or CZ enamel right-hand rings create a real dramatic evening look Playing off the floral trend, look for a funky black flower ring to pair with a little white dress or jeans.

The great thing about the right-hand ring trend is that women can choose between high-priced stones to semi-precious stones to CZ knock-offs. Some women may choose to splurge a bit in their choice of ring but go with an anchor piece that can be worn all year long. The most important tip is to keep the ring simple and bold.

Some are having fun mixing their right-hand rings on one hand, combining several rings for a look that's both dramatic and fun. Rings fashioned with semiprecious stones are a great way to achieve this look without breaking the budget. Fortunately, there are an endless range of jewelry designers today who are creating inspired, fun, beautiful and sometimes quirky right-hand rings that fit any style and price range. While it's a look that's been made popular by celebrities, it's not one that requires a celebrity bank account.

Dreamcatcher

You are about to read the story of a fictional character...

Dreamcatcher

A simple game of catch, a childhood enjoyment of so many, had so much more meaning that night than it possibly ever had. It wasn't the action of throwing the ball or anything; that wasn't important. In fact, that particular game of "catch" had very little importance at all. Nothing was riding on it. What made it so important was all the thoughts and memories and worries going through my head. What made this game of throwing the ball back and forth to a partner important was what would follow after. What time was it? Right then, time wasn't real. All that was real was the dirtied hat that was perched on my head, the yellowing ball that was in my right hand, and the glove that was on my left. Oh, and at that point, I kept trying to convince myself I was real...What day was it? I really couldn't even tell you. All that was on my mind was thoughts about what would soon come after. Where the heck was I? I can tell you that I was standing on the grass on a field in some place all so familiar, yet I know or I'm at least pretty sure, I've never been here before. I can tell you that I'm tossing the ball with some body, somebody I feel like I've known since I was five years old...but truth be told we've never met. What I admired most about this guy was how at ease he seamed, joking around with the person next to him. How was he so relaxed with so much at stake?

My cleats never once stayed still, never once dug fully into the grass. My glove was always on the move, like a magnet for the ball. "Pop." Each time another pop into the well built in glove. Not a word was spoken by me or anyone remotely around me, but when I tuned in I heard all sorts of voices and chatter. At that moment, it's currently silent but when I tried to hear, I can hear tens of thousands of people collectively making enough noise to make a man deaf. In the Hindu faith, it is believed that if you held the world in your hand, it would make an "Om" sound. But right then, that was pretty much horse crap. 'Cause I knew everyone in the world was there watching me, where ever it was that I was. And all I could hear was something more along the lines of loud, obnoxious salesmen shouting for a sale, and rowdy fans making a riot in the bleachers. I was obviously at a baseball field...hearing these noises you instantly know where you are. But which park?

"Peanuts! Crackerjacks! Get your ice cream! Only two dollars! Water! Soda! Ice cold beer! Get it all over here!"

"Hey left field, my grandma can make a better run on that ball than you can, you lousy bum..."

"Yo man, that's my seat! I dun't want no problems or nutin, but you betta gets up before one breaks loose!"

'Stay focused. This was the key to success. Tune into the game, and not the stands,' I mumbled quietly. 'Instead of worrying about what the guy in the two dollar seat has to say, now would be a good time to worry about the blazing fast ball flying at you that likely has sparks flying off of it,' I thought to myself. Luckily, since I've been playing catch since I was a kid, it had become instinctual and like breathing---I don't have to think about it, it's basically engraved in my body.

How long had I been throwing this ball? It's a toss up between thirty seconds and two hours...One final toss of this ball, and we were done. In my head, all I could imagine is that grass, actually. Of all things, the grass is what's on my mind. I had never dreamt of grass as well kept as this. For some crazy reason, possibly an unfulfilled baseball fan who never had the chance spirit took over my body, I took off my shoes and basked in the grass for a moment or two. Besides, those darned things had been under my bed for so long that they didn't even fit any more. On the grass, it's not that I didn't care how ridiculous I looked, because had I been tuned in and not in a meta-world-like state, I would have been very self conscious about that kind of stuff. But not then...I was too busy reliving all the fields I had played on as a child, even when I was a small boy playing t-ball in the local park. Baseball was just a fun game, and I remembered how it molded into becoming a life style and even soon a job. I remembered some of the fondest times in my life, diving catches, home runs, mobbing people on the field as they scored a winning run. What a game baseball was.

Slowly strolling like the richest of men (which I certainly was not), I made my way to the dugout. It was possibly one of the most surreal feelings I have ever experienced; knowing that I was finally here a smile arose on my face. I did notice lips moving, but no sound was coming out. A light tap on my shoulder caused me to turn around, and who else was standing there but the coach of this ball club.

"Kid, today may be your day." I couldn't decide whether or not to die of surprise or of excitement. I made a quick but important decision and decided to stay alive. "That good for nothing sunnuva bitch catcher we had didn't show up yet. We need someone to take his place, pal, and you'll be playing behind the dish tonight. Got that?"

"Thank you, sir. I won't let you down," I said, voice trembling.

"Don't thank me. Just don't let me regret my decision. It was between you and someone else, and I gave it to you."

"I won't let you down."

"Hey rookie..."

"Yes sir?"

"Put some damn shoes on."

"Yes sir..."

How did I forget to put shoes on? As I went to grab them, it struck me that in all my years of playing, I never played catcher? Why wasn't I surprised? I had when I was a kid, maybe, but I suppose I made a game losing error of some kind and never wanted to play that position again. I called for the coach.

"Hey, uhm, coach..."

"Yes, rookie?"

"Uhhhmmm, I just wanted to thank you for giving me this chance to play tonight." I froze up.

"Don't let me down."

I wouldn't. Soon, the pitcher and I discussed the signs.

"One for fastball," he said.

"Two for change up," I nodded.

"Three for curveball," he continued.

"And four for my 'Timmy-surprise' pitch." I would have asked what it meant, but surprised are best kept secret. They usually let me down.

As I grabbed for my spikes, a frenzy of thoughts filled my head like a fast tornado swirling; taking me with it. Soon, this tornado threw me to an open field in the Midwest in the fall, with nothing remotely close to us in this world except the ball and glove we were using. I was up to bat against a tall pitcher with fire in his eyes. Although neither of us had been speaking to each other, our eyes said every word in the English language to one another. It was quite the sensation. I had no worries. No thoughts of the past or the future. Man, when I was on the field playing catch with my dad, the present was hardly a factor. It just felt so calming to have someone like that for me, knowing how lucky I was. My dreams were all around me: 1920s ball players floated around in circles over head as I slowly looked up and around me. Looking to the left and right, I saw fans yelling my name. The girl of my dreams was even there watching me. I had all the talent in the world.

I couldn't believe my own eyes. I shouldn't have. The bat dropped from my hands and the tornado threw me in the air, and I hit the floor.

I didn't know where I was. I opened my eyes quickly, but only saw black. I shut them just as quickly. This time slowly, I opened them again, hoping to see the roof of the club house or the dugout...I was out of luck and the hour glass was flipped over and done with. I saw the ceiling to my room, my fan slowly spinning. I was back in the real world. And I won't have every one in the world watching me again. But don't think that will stop me. Om.

Golf Tee Box Positioning Course Management

There is only one goal when it comes to the desired landing area off the tee box. We all like to land the ball in the middle of the fairway or as close to the pin as possible on the par threes, but sometimes this task seems difficult to accomplish. Playing for the middle of the fairway or green could make the golf hole a little longer than we would like on some golf holes. However, playing and positioning yourself in the right area of the tee box may help you shorten the golf hole and avoid certain hazards on the golf course.

Next time you step on to the tee box, look down the fairway and take all golf conditions and the sloping fairway into consideration before placing your tee and golf ball into the ground. Check to see if there is any crosswind and what direction it is heading. Also, check to see which direction the fairway or green is sloping. When both are heading in the same direction, you may want to use a certain side of the tee box to your advantage, depending on which way you want the ball to maneuver. This sometimes can be confusing in choosing to aim left, right, or center of the tee box when thinking about your desired placement on the teeing area.

Stepping into the correct position on the tee box not only accounts on whether there is a crosswind and or a sloping fairway and green. You must determine on how high your odds are in hooking, fading or slicing the golf ball, unless you know how to hit the ball straight consistently. Also, is the golf hole straight away, dogleg right or left? You may have to determine the right golf club for distance, especially if the position on the tee box you choose will take you closer to the hazards that golfers seem to forget about or overlook. Teeing areas are not always level. Is the position you choose on the tee box going to place the golf ball higher or lower in your stance? When the golf ball is higher or lower in your stance, it could change the direction you want to aim with not much choice on your part. A golf ball higher in your stance will tend to go left and right if the ball is lower in you stance for right handed hitters.

A good example of positioning yourself in the correct position on the tee box would be a sand trap or a water hazard to the right of you. You may want to choose the right side of the tee box and aim left, if there were a smaller or no hazard in this direction. Just keep in mind, a hazard is a hazard and it is a matter of which hazard will not bring other hazards into play, if you end up in one or the other! Staying away from water on the right and ending up in a sand trap to the left could be a nightmare for some, especially if you have to hit the golf ball back towards the water when the pin is located in this direction.

This may all seem a little confusing to say the least, but with careful thought before teeing up the golf ball, will make a big difference on your next golf shot to the green or pin. Choosing the correct position on the tee box is your only chance in taking advantage of playing the ball with your preferred lie. It is all part of golf course management which will lower your golf handicap and demand self golf discipline, which in turn makes better golf players.

Baseball Mitt

How much money do you think I can get if I sold a baseball mitt signed by Jermaine Dye and A.J. Pierzynski?

About $90-$175. Only because it's a mit. The marker fades off of leather faster than a ball, bat, etc. If it wasn't a mit I'd say about $190-$220.

A Look at the Different Types of Baseball Gloves

Baseball Gloves are great gifts. Gloves are a type of garment to help protect and cover the hand against cold or heat, physical damage which can be caused by friction, abrasions, chemicals and diseases and their basic usage is to help protect the wearer from things which their bare hands should not touch.

Gloves are made form different materials and are used for a number of purposes Gloves are also used while people play different types of sports like cricket, football, baseball etc

A baseball gloves or mitt as it is usually called is a large glove made of leather which baseball players wear to help them catch and field balls which are being hit by the batter of the other team Doug Allison was the first man to use a baseball glove during a game when he was a catcher fro the Cincinnati Red Stockings as early as in 1870.

He happened to wear a glove because of an injury to his left hand. But the first documented proof of any baseball player wearing gloves is Charles Waitt who was a St. Louis outfielder/ first batsman who happened to wear gloves on his hands in 1875. It was considered feminine to wear gloves but it soon caught up with the baseball players and modified versions began to appear.

In the beginning baseball players used to cut off the fingertips from a leather glove and wear them so that they had padding for their bare hand. The base ball gloves began to get modified as time went by and soon they had a huge glove on one hand to help them catch the ball in the webbing of the glove and the other hand to help keep the ball intact. A baseball player who is right handed will wear a glove on his left hand while a left handed baseball player will do vice versa.

It is the pattern of the glove which decides the shape and size of the baseball glove. And there are different types of baseball gloves like Catcher's Mitts, First baseman's Mitts, Infielder's mitts, Pitcher's gloves, Outfielder's gloves.

All these baseball gloves are quite specialized and they position specific patterned gloves. These base ball gloves are made specifically to help protect the baseball payers who are fielding in different positions during the game.

The batter tends to hit the ball with extreme force and this can be very dangerous and harmful to the hand of the catcher if he is not wearing a well padded glove on his hand when he is trying to catch the ball.

If you are planning to buy baseball gloves for your friends or family it is best to go to the internet and look at all the details about the baseball gloves being offered by different companies

Some of the major companies which manufacture baseball gloves are Louisville Slugger, Nokona, Rawlings, Spalding, Wilson etc.

The grip is one of the fundamentals that you have to get right if you want to be successful in the game of golf. There is a certain basic way to do it and to get the perfect neutral grip on the golf club requires some careful application. So here are a couple of simple steps to ensure that you have the correct grip.

Step 1: Start by letting your arms hang down freely. There should be no tension in your arms. Place your hands on either side of the grip with your palms facing one another.

Step 2: Next, feed the club in your left hand so that the grip of the club runs diagonally from the first joint of your forefinger up into the fleshy pad at the top of your palm. Then all you have to do is close your fingers around the grip

Step 3: You should ensure that your left thumb is positioned on top of the grip slightly right of centre and that when you look down at your left hand only two knuckles should be visible.

Step 4: Now you have to add your right hand to the grip. It is very important to keep the palms-facing principle in mind when doing so. Bring your right hand towards the grip and fit it snugly on top of the left hand by wrapping your right fingers around the grip and interlocking your right forefinger and left pinkie. When this is done your right thumb and forefinger should form a soft trigger around the grip.

That is all there is to it. All you have to do now is hit the ball.

Left-Handed and Right-Handed Scissors are Different

Scientifically speaking, scissors are an instrument with a functioning 2-lever system with a fulcrum in the middle. Where the scissors is held that is, the blade corners, force is applied there with the hands. The 2-lever apparatus exerts pressure in the middle where the fulcrum lies. The closer the material (to be cut) to the fulcrum, the easier it is to cut. This is because less force is required by the hand and the thumb.

One can say that a pair of scissors is actually composed of a pair of knives attached to each other. A single knife has one blade, whereas scissors have a pair of blades. Bigger scissors are called shears, in which the blades are of higher length and are usually for cutting heavy materials, plants or metal.

Truman Capote said "I believe more in the scissors than I do in the pencil", meaning that scissors are perhaps one of the most essential home tools people can use in their regular lives.

You probably can not name a household that does not have at least a pair of scissors. If you do, then the people of that house either are too ancient or there is a phobia attached to this tool.

It is a tool that is the easiest to use since it has a way to exert minimum pressure to cut through materials. There are innumerable uses of scissors like cutting paper, cloth, tin foil, hair, strings, plastic, leafy vegetables, etc.

Which brings me to the main point of this article. The question is: Are left-handed and right-handed scissors different?

The answer is "Yes." It is actually difficult for two people to share a pair of scissors if one is a right-handed and the other a left-handed. Because the thumb exerts pressure on the blade that is above and the rest of the fingers hold the other blade end to support that pressure. This is true for a normal scissors but in case of a scissors made for a left-handed person the reverse is true. The two blades in the scissors are different and their placements in the two types of scissors for two differently oriented persons will differ in just the vice versa way.

Though commonly it is found in a household that a scissors for right-handed a person is generally used and if a member is left-handed, he usually practices to use the same right handed scissors. But scissors made for the left hand are optimized for that position and are recommended for those that do cutting everyday.

In the present day's context a variety of soft touch scissors are used that enable you to cut material with a minimum of pressure.

There is another with a spring mechanism where the user does not open the blades apart to hold the material. It automatically opens and the user only has to exert pressure to cut. Scissors like this, and especially with rubber handles, are easy on the fingers of the user.

There are a variety of scissors that are optimized for their inteded use:

1. Children's Scissors are the safety scissors with almost blunt blades. If your children use these scissors, then their safety is ensured.

2. Medical or bandage scissors are used in hospitals and nursing homes. They have long handles with shorter blades. One of the blades is generally blunt and supports the cutting action of the other.

3. During operations, surgeons use another kind of blade, known as Hemostat. Instead of 2-blades system it has a one clamp and a one blade system.

4. Cutting cloth require very sharp bladed scissors. They are called fabric scissors. Such scissors are sharpened regularly, as even a little bit of bluntness will lead to irregular cuts on the fabric.

5. Gardeners use a type of scissors called the secateur. It is used to cut shrubs, and other plants. Another name for the secateur is "pruning shears."

6. Scissors having zigzag shaped blades are called pinking shears. They form a similar, decorative zig-zag type of cut shape on the material being cut.

7. There are a number of other scissors used in commercial industries as bolt cutters, tin snips, nippers, etc.

So the main thing is to get the right scissors for your need and for the correct hand that you use.
